We did buy the Cheetos we found though!

I lived in Cincinnati for 15 years and (oddly enough) Mexican food is what I miss the most now that I am back home. I am adding Fritos to the (always growing) list of items I have my friends send us. Great recipe. We have access (now) to a decent amount of stuff to make Mexican night somewhat authentic – but damn, I miss fritos!

I used to eat Hormel or Dennison’s canned chili on toast, doused with Tabasco, as a kid. Of course now I prefer homemade chili but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit I do long for the canned stuff every now and then.

I miss so many things, mainly tortilla chips made of flour tortillas, more interesting brunch fair (brunch is huge in LA), street tacos, great sushi and crunch California health food concoctions.

Thanks for the chili recipe, will defo whip some up soon!

Great seeing you tonight!

Why didn’t it ever catch on in the Midwest? Our loss!

That looks like avocado on there too or is it guacamole? I never had that on frito pie but it would add creaminess. Chili on sweet potato wedges sounds good too. :) You two are very creative.
